If you are running Windows XP Service Pack2 and every time you start the computer you get an error stating "Generic Host process for Win32 services has encountered a problem and needs to close"
Then I have a quick solution here : Just download the batch file and then run it once. It will make a small change to your windows registry and after that you will never see that problem again.
Note : I have personally faced this problem and I have used this method to solve my problem.
Warning : Do not run this application twice(just double click on the file to run). It will not show any interface window or confirmation dialouge. It will only display a ms-dos prompt only for half a second and thats all. Afer this ,restart your pc and enjoy un-interrupted service.
One more thing : You may see this error after fixation :
Event Type: Error
Event Source: NetBT
Event Category: None
Event ID: 4311
Initialization failed because the driver device could not be created.

UPDATE : ON 10.02.2012 -----------------------------
If you are a genuine Windows user then use Microsoft Security Essentials. It is the best for complete protection. MSE includes an antivirus module ,an anti-spyware module and an anti-malware module. You can double its protection using "Comodo Firewall."
For Windows 7 and Windows 8, no extra firewall is necessary though.
